This scholarship is for entering freshmen who are seeking a college, university or technical school education. The application asks students to answer seven questions to the best of their ability. These questions will give the Selection Committee a look at the student’s character. All applications are presented without student names to the Selection Committee. They will know the student’s high school. The Selection Committee is the Operation Round Up Board of Directors.
The scholarship is $1,200, payable $300 for each of four semesters through the sophomore year. The scholarship is available to an entering freshman college or university student who is a member, or spouse or child of a member, or child whose guardian is a member of South Plains Electric Cooperative.
