The Operation Round Up Board of Directors created a community grant program to help local non-profit organizations.

Thanks to contributions made by Cooperative members, Operation Round Up awarded $15,000 in grants to 10 local non-profit organizations.

A recipient of an Operation Round Up Community Grant was Ralls Loaves and Fishes. The organization started in 2008 and is committed to serving the elderly, homebound and disabled citizens of Crosby County by providing hot and nutritious meals.

Ralls Loaves and Fishes is in the process of establishing their own building where the meals can be cooked and other community events can be held. Their grant money was used to purchase the building, along with making repairs and help purchase appliances needed.
