The Operation Round Up Board of Directors created a community grant program to better help local non-profit organizations.

Thanks to contributions made by cooperative members, Operation Round Up awarded $15,000 in grants to 10 local non-profit organizations.

Special Olympics Texas was a recipient of an Operation Round Up Community Grant. Special Olympics Texas provides children and adults with intellectual disabilities the opportunity to not only develop physical fitness, but demonstrate courage as they participate in a sharing of gifts, skills and friendship.

With the grant money they received, Special Olympics Texas purchased equipment that enables them to offer badminton, disc golf, pickle ball and cornhole to their South Plains athletes.
